Zendaya's film The Drama has emerged as one of 2026's quiet streaming successes, still ranking as the third most-streamed film on HBO Max in the United States five months after its cinema release. The news comes during an extraordinary year for Zendaya, whose other 2026 credits include Christopher Nolan's record-breaking The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which became the biggest film of the decade so far alongside co-star and husband Tom Holland.

Released in April, The Drama is a dark anti-romantic comedy directed by Kristoffer Borgli, starring Zendaya opposite Robert Pattinson as a couple whose engagement unravels after a shocking revelation. Made on a modest $28 million budget, it took $105 million at the box office and drew strong reviews. Zendaya is next set to reunite with Pattinson in Dune: Part Three, due in December 2026 alongside Timothée Chalamet, Javier Bardem and Florence Pugh, released the same day as Avengers: Doomsday.
