Two US service members were killed and a third is missing following Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks on American forces in Jordan on Friday, US Central Command said. The US carried out strikes against Iran for an eighth consecutive night on Saturday, aimed at degrading Iran's ability to threaten shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and punishing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for the Jordan attack. Jordan's military said it intercepted ten Iranian missiles overnight, while Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei accused the US of breaching the ceasefire and vowed retaliation; the US State Department has also issued a heightened caution advisory for Americans in the Middle East.
