Her departure follows her stated need to focus on her mental and physical wellbeing, which she communicated publicly through social media.

Developer Eclipse Glow Games has publicly supported English's decision and expressed wishes for her health and happiness. The studio has recruited another actress to record dialogue for the upcoming Gamescom demo whilst preserving English's involvement through a consulting role on the project.
