Former ‘This Morning’ Host Holly Willoughby Heads to YouTube for New Lifestyle Series

Variety · 1 day ago

Holly Willoughby, formerly the face of ITV's "This Morning," is returning to television-style presenting with a new lifestyle series called "Holly Willoughby Together," launching on YouTube rather than a traditional broadcaster. The move marks her most substantial project since a turbulent few years that included the "queue-jumping" row at the late Queen's lying-in-state, the fallout from co-host Phillip Schofield's departure, and revelations that she had been the target of a kidnap and murder plot, all of which led her to step back from her long-running ITV role.

The series premieres on 28 July and is billed as a "multi-platform lifestyle series" built around real people's stories, practical advice, fashion, beauty, health and celebrity guests such as Stanley Tucci, Emma Bunton and Katherine Ryan. It will run across five recurring strands, including in-depth conversations, cooking, fashion and beauty, wellness, and a celebrity "hang-out" segment, with two episodes released weekly across YouTube and other platforms. The show is produced by Hungry Bear Media, the company run by Willoughby's husband Dan Baldwin, which also makes the BBC's "Gladiators."
