Ariana Grande turned a technical hiccup into a spontaneous fan moment during the fifth and final Brooklyn stop of her Eternal Sunshine Tour, singing "Be Alright" from her 2016 album Dangerous Woman for the first time in years while her crew fixed a production issue. The unplanned a cappella moment, chosen after she asked the crowd to help pick a song, delighted fans and briefly filled a gap in the setlist before the show resumed without further problems.

The pause came shortly after Grande performed "Twilight Zone" and "Past Life" at Barclays Center on Sunday 19 July, and it was not the only technical issue during her New York run; audio had cut out during "Eternal Sunshine" on the tour's opening Brooklyn night, and lights flickered again during Sunday's performance. The show also featured hits including "Thank U, Next", "7 Rings", "Positions" and new single "Hate That I Made You Love Me" from her forthcoming album Petal, due 31 July. Grande is now at the midpoint of the tour, which began in June in Oakland and continues through Boston, Montreal and Chicago before concluding with ten nights at London's O2 Arena.
