Brad Paisley Didn’t Mind the Slow-Drip ‘Cat-and-Mouse Game’ Over Details of Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce’s Wedding: ‘It Meant a Lot to Be There’
Country star Brad Paisley has spoken about attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding at Madison Square Garden on 3 July, revealing that guests were only gradually given details in the run-up to the event. Paisley, who has a long-standing friendship with Swift after inviting her to open for him on his 2007 tour, said he enjoyed the secrecy surrounding the ceremony and felt honoured to be among those invited, describing the invitation's message that recipients "mean a lot" to the couple.
Despite tight security and watermarked invitations, Paisley described the wedding as "one of the least pretentious" he had attended, calling it a heartfelt gesture of thanks from Swift. He also revealed that the couple made a "transformative" donation to his charity, The Store, which tackles food insecurity, as part of $26 million (about £20.5 million) given to various causes ahead of the wedding. Other guests reportedly included Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, Ed Sheeran and Bradley Cooper, with Adam Sandler officiating.
