Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, one of this month's new PS Plus Extra additions, has received a major free update on the same day it joined Sony's subscription service. The Shannondale Update adds five new missions along with additional content, giving both existing owners and new PS Plus Extra subscribers extra reasons to dive back into the game.

Alongside the free update, developers have also released the paid Motor Vehicle Accident Expansion, priced at $14.99/£12.99 or included in the Year 1 Season Pass. This expansion introduces new missions, gameplay mechanics and tools focused on handling traffic accidents, expanding the game's firefighting simulation further.
