Chelsea Wolfe has announced a new album, The Dark, and released its lead single, “Cold”. The announcement marks the start of a new creative period for the singer-songwriter, with the album described as reflecting sobriety, personal change and confronting difficult inner experiences.

The Dark is due for release in 2026, while “Cold” explores the isolation of remaining in a relationship that is harmful. BrooklynVegan is also offering an exclusive edition limited to 500 Gold Forest vinyl copies, alongside a limited-edition T-shirt and bundle.
