‘Evil Dead Burn’ Haunted House Experience Is Headed to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights

Variety · 6 hours ago

Universal Studios has announced that "Evil Dead Burn", the newest instalment in the "Evil Dead" horror franchise, will be turned into a haunted house experience at its Halloween Horror Nights events. The attraction lets guests walk through recreations of the film's most terrifying scenes, tying the theme park event to the film's cinema release and giving Universal another high-profile horror property to draw crowds during the Halloween season.

The haunted house begins at the Price family's secluded woodland vacation home and grows increasingly menacing as visitors encounter Deadites before "succumbing to the evil forces" themselves. It opens on 28 August at Universal Orlando Resort and 3 September at Universal Studios Hollywood, running on select nights through 1 November at both parks. The film itself, directed by Sébastien Vaniček and starring Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan and Luciane Buchanan, is released on 24 July and marks the sixth "Evil Dead" instalment. It joins other confirmed additions to this year's Halloween Horror Nights lineup, including "Sinners", "Hellraiser" and a "Stranger Things" experience.
