Glasgow indie-dance band walt disco have announced their self-titled second album, four years in the making since their acclaimed 2022 debut 'Unlearning', which earned a Best Independent Album nomination at the AIM Awards. The new record marks the group's move to label EMI North and is described as a "call to arms" statement, alongside the release of new single 'Lies'.

The self-titled album 'walt disco' is due out on 2nd October 2026. To coincide with the announcement, new single 'Lies' has been released, described as brash and infectious. The band will also perform at the Songs Of Solidarity event at Glasgow Art School on 5th September.
