Comer said on Tuesday that the committee would pursue "compulsory" action, such as a subpoena, if Dershowitz does not agree to sit for a transcribed video interview with congressional investigators. Dershowitz, a prominent lawyer who has previously represented Epstein, had reportedly backed out of the scheduled testimony, prompting the committee's warning.
