Peak Design has launched a new modular accessory called the Field Bracket on Kickstarter, combining an L-bracket, hand grip and mounting plate with a built-in slot for a dedicated finder tag. The design aims to solve the common problem of bulky, dangling trackers by integrating tracking directly into camera hardware, appealing to photographers and videographers who frequently misplace or lose their gear. Pricing starts at $150 for early Kickstarter backers, with a standard retail price of $149.95.

The system's centrepiece is the optional Beacon Finder Tag, which works with both Apple's Find My and Google's Find Hub networks, ensuring compatibility across iOS and Android. It runs on a replaceable CR2025 battery rated for up to six months and carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, sitting flush within the bracket's base plate. Beyond tracking, the Field Bracket supports additional accessories such as a finger grip and cheese plate via a tool-free "Field Latch" system, works with most ARCA-compatible tripods, and retains slots for Peak Design's own straps; however, brackets are moulded per camera model, with only the newest or near-newest bodies supported at launch.
