Nick Offerman has spoken about his two Emmy nominations, discussing his roles as Vice President Chester A. Arthur in Netflix's "Death By Lightning" and as troubled wrestler Jinx in Apple TV's "Margo's Got Money Troubles". Speaking from his dressing room at Chicago's Goodman Theater, where he is currently performing alongside his wife Megan Mullally in the musical "Iceboy!", Offerman reflected on the historical research behind his "Death By Lightning" role and the emotional resonance of working alongside co-stars Elle Fanning and Michelle Pfeiffer on "Margo's Got Money Troubles".

Offerman praised "Death By Lightning", based on Candice Millard's book about President James A. Garfield's assassination, calling it a "lush production" and suggesting its cinematography, costumes and art direction deserved award recognition. On "Margo's Got Money Troubles", he described feeling an affinity with his character Jinx's struggles with addiction and estranged family relationships, while expressing continued disbelief at working with Fanning and Pfeiffer, who play his character's daughter and ex-wife respectively.
