Future's new album "The Real Me" has debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, giving the rapper his 17th chart-topper and drawing him level with Drake and The Temptations for the most number one albums in the chart's history since 1965. The milestone underscores Future's remarkable consistency as a hitmaker over more than a decade, placing him among an elite handful of artists at the very top of the R&B/hip-hop rankings.

The Real Me earned 131,000 equivalent album units in the United States during its first tracking week, with streaming driving the bulk of that figure at 118,000 units, alongside 13,000 traditional sales, according to Luminate. The Temptations held the outright record alone for decades until Drake matched it with his album ICEMAN earlier this year. The album also placed 21 songs on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, including three top 10 hits, taking Future's career tally to 50 top 10 songs and making him only the fifth artist ever to reach that mark, alongside Drake, James Brown, Lil Wayne and Aretha Franklin.
