Olivia Rodrigo has again spoken out on reproductive rights, arguing that abortion bans are less about being "pro-life" and more about "pro-control". The comments came in an in-depth conversation with the Center for Reproductive Rights, timed ahead of her inaugural Daisy Chain Fields Festival, and reflect her continued use of her platform to campaign against anti-abortion legislation in the US.

The discussion, held with the organisation's president Nancy Northup and several legal experts, examined the consequences of abortion restrictions since the Supreme Court's 2022 Dobbs decision, including high maternal mortality rates in restrictive states and the case of Amanda Zurawski. The Center for Reproductive Rights will be among ten nonprofit partners at the festival, taking place on 29 August at Great Park in Irvine, California, with an all-female line-up including Chappell Roan, Doechii and Stevie Nicks. Rodrigo has previously funded reproductive rights initiatives through her "Guts" tour proceeds and handed out contraceptive kits at Missouri shows, drawing criticism from Republican figures.
