Need A Career Honoree For Location Managers Guild Awards? Better Call Vince Gilligan

Deadline · 3 hours ago

Location Managers Guild International (LMGI) is honouring Vince Gilligan, creator of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul and Pluribus, with its 2026 Eva Monley Award for career achievement. The prize will be presented at the 13th annual LMGI Awards, recognising the crucial but often unsung work of location managers who secure the real-world settings that shape television and film production.

Gilligan will receive the award on 22 August at the Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica, having praised location managers as "some of the hardest-working folks in the business". His latest series, Pluribus, has earned 18 Emmy nominations in its debut season on Apple TV, adding to four career Emmys for Breaking Bad and 53 nominations (but no wins) for Better Call Saul, all three shows having been filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. LMGI also announced its Lifetime Achievement Award will go to Mike Fantasia, with the Association of Film Commissioners International receiving the Trailblazers Award.
