Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, the next entry in Nintendo's tactical role-playing series, is due out on Nintendo Switch 2 on 17 September, and its official X account has been steadily unveiling members of its large ensemble cast ahead of launch. The latest reveals, bard Sirocco and general Tobias, continue a long-running series tradition of charming, self-assured "himbo" characters who provide comic relief and fan appeal alongside the game's strategic combat.

Sirocco is described as a mysterious, flirtatious bard on a quest for revenge, while Tobias is a battle-hardened general devoted to Queen Theodora but notoriously poor at remembering names. They follow in the footsteps of past fan-favourite characters such as Sylvain from Three Houses and Gatrie from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn. So far 12 characters have been detailed from an estimated cast of 32 to 40, with the story centred on a competition called the Heroic Games, suggesting more such characters are still to be revealed.
