Halo: Campaign Evolved will support cross-platform co-op between Xbox, PlayStation 5 and PC, allowing players to team up regardless of where they own the game. The feature is significant because it extends the traditionally Xbox-associated Halo series to PlayStation while keeping friends connected across platforms.

Players must add friends using their Xbox Gamertag or username through Xbox’s website, Game Bar or mobile app, then invite them from the “Cross-Platform Friends” list in the game’s co-op menu. The remake launches on 28 July, with early access from 23 July for owners of the $70 Premium Edition; the $50 Standard Edition and Game Pass users can pay $20 to upgrade.
