6 in 10 Americans disapprove of Trump’s job performance: Survey
A new Washington Post–ABC News–Ipsos poll found that 60% of Americans disapproved of President Donald Trump’s job performance, while 39% approved. The result, released shortly before his address to Congress, suggests broad public dissatisfaction with his administration, particularly on inflation, tariffs and foreign policy.
Nearly half of respondents, 47%, said they strongly disapproved of Trump’s performance. The survey questioned 2,589 US adults between 12 and 17 February and had a margin of error of plus or minus two percentage points; his disapproval had not reached 60% since shortly after the 6 January 2021 Capitol attack.
