Michelle Zhou's debut feature "Big Little Things" has secured worldwide sales and festival representation from Hong Kong-based Moebius Entertainment, following the film's selection for the Horizons section of the 83rd Venice Film Festival. The Hong Kong-U.S. co-production tells the story of a woman who returns to her native Harbin after years in the U.S., navigating the tension between her relationship with her girlfriend and her family's expectations, exploring themes of identity, belonging and personal truth versus inherited obligation.

The film previously won the Activator Market Potential Award at the 2025 Golden Horse Film Project Promotion in Taipei. Moebius CEO Fred Tsui praised Zhou as a distinctive new filmmaking voice. Separately, Moebius also picked up worldwide sales rights (outside Taiwan) for "Happily Ever After", the follow-up from Taiwanese director Fiona Roan Feng-i, set to premiere in Toronto's Special Presentations lineup; this reunites Tsui with Roan and producer Clifford Miu after their work on "American Girl", which won five prizes at the Golden Horse Awards and was sold to Netflix.
