Amazon has launched its Luna cloud gaming service inside the Prime Video app, letting subscribers play games without leaving the streaming platform. From Thursday, Prime members in the US and UK can access games via a new "Games" tab on Fire TVs, sitting alongside the service's films, television and sports content, at no extra cost and with nothing to download.

The integrated library includes third-party titles such as "Hogwarts Legacy," "EA Sports FC 26" and "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle," Amazon's "GameNight" party games like "Clue" and "Taboo," and in-house releases including "Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite." Luna's paid Premium tier, priced at $9.99 a month, is not yet accessible through Prime Video, and Amazon-owned blockbuster franchises including the upcoming "Tomb Raider" games and future James Bond titles will not initially feature; gaming chief Jeff Gattis said a "windowing" strategy, releasing such games on Luna alongside console and PC launches, is being considered but not yet confirmed.
