A fresh trailer for an upcoming live-action Resident Evil film showcases the story of Bryan, a medical courier whose routine deliveries lead him into the heart of a zombie outbreak in Raccoon City. After hitting what appears to be an infected person whilst on a phone call, he ventures into an abandoned house where he discovers a double-barrelled shotgun to help him survive the escalating crisis.

The trailer incorporates an easter egg for long-time franchise fans through the inclusion of Heavy Field Buckshot ammunition, the same brand featured in Resident Evil 4 and 5. The film is being directed and written by Zach Cregger, known for horror projects Barbarian and Weapons, alongside John Wick screenwriter Shay Hatten who co-penned the screenplay.
