Scottish power-pop veterans Teenage Fanclub have announced their 13th studio album, Do Not Dare To Dream, due for release on 9 October via Merge Records. The band shared the news alongside a video for lead single "Day In The Sun", directed by Donald Milne, continuing a career that stretches back to their acclaimed early-90s breakthrough Bandwagonesque and their more recent run of self-released records.

The album was recorded on Great Bernera, an island off Scotland, where the band made use of a church organ they found on site; the accompanying video was also filmed there. It follows 2023's Nothing Lasts Forever and features ten tracks, including "There Was You", "Tomorrow People" and "I Do Not Dare To Dream", alongside the newly released "Day In The Sun".
