The new issue of Metal Hammer magazine (issue 416) puts German electronicore band Electric Callboy on the cover, marking the release of the group's forthcoming album Tanzneid. Co-vocalists Kevin Ratajczak and Nico Sallach speak to the magazine about the band's journey from unconventional beginnings, before their 2020 viral hit "Hypa Hypa" propelled them to arena-level success known for elaborate costume changes, pyrotechnics and genre-blending performances.

Before joining Electric Callboy, Ratajczak worked as a Mercedes salesman and Sallach as an intensive care nurse. In the feature, Sallach recalls his hard-partying 20s, describing chaotic house parties that once drew around 80 people into a small flat, with uninvited guests ringing the doorbell and leaving the property covered in unidentifiable spilled drinks.
