John Prine’s archival album Found Dogs, initially issued in a limited Record Store Day 2026 release, will arrive on streaming services on 9 October through Oh Boy Records. The label has previewed the release with “World Without Love”, one of five previously unreleased tracks, accompanied by a lyric video using Super 8 footage from a Prine family holiday in the early 1970s.

The album marks 30 years since Prine’s Lost Dogs & Mixed Blessings and includes alternate, acoustic and demo versions of earlier songs, alongside a cover of Johnny Horton’s “All for the Love of a Girl”. Its release forms part of Souvenirs: 80 Years of John Prine, a programme of tributes and events around what would have been the singer-songwriter’s 80th birthday; Oh Boy also released his 2010 Live at Old Town School of Folk recording last month.
