A24 Plans Free Screenings of Anthony Bourdain Movie ‘Tony’ for Hospitality Workers (Exclusive)

A24 will hold free advance screenings of its Anthony Bourdain film, Tony, for hospitality and food-service workers. The initiative recognises the industry depicted in the film and gives restaurant staff early access before its wider cinema release.

Branded “Industry Night”, the screenings will take place on 3 August in 25 US cities and be hosted by local chefs, in partnership with OpenTable and Square. Tony stars Dominic Sessa as a 19-year-old Bourdain and Antonio Banderas as a restaurant chef; it opens in limited release on 7 August before expanding nationwide on 21 August.
