‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Set Designer Mary Kate Golding Fatally Stabbed In Apparent Murder-Suicide
Mary Kate Golding, a 34-year-old New York set decorator who worked on *The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel*, was found fatally stabbed at her home in Astoria, Queens, on 21 July. Police are treating the case as a possible murder-suicide after her husband, Joseph Azzaretto, was later found dead in a nearby park; their 11-month-old son was unharmed.
Golding’s television credits also included *Hawkeye*, *Mr. & Mrs. Smith*, *Goosebumps* and Netflix’s *Gone Girls: The Long Island Serial Killer*. She graduated from New York University in 2015, began working in television in 2017, and had recently been listed as an assistant set decorator on the forthcoming film *Deep Cuts*.
