SUFC Exclusive: United handed Souttar transfer boost as Foxes future stance emerges – thestar.co.uk

🔎 Sheffield ·

Harry Souttar has told Leicester City that he would like to explore a move away this summer, giving Sheffield United encouragement in their attempt to re-sign the Australian defender. The development matters because the Blades regard him as a key target, although any deal remains dependent on Leicester’s valuation and Sheffield United’s ability to fund it.

Souttar, 27, spent the 2024–25 season on loan at Bramall Lane and is also attracting interest from Stoke City, West Ham United and Wrexham. Leicester, preparing for League One after relegation, are reportedly seeking around £10 million for a player contracted until 2028; Sheffield United are understood to have considered a loan-to-buy proposal, but Leicester prefer a permanent sale.
