The Hollywood Reporter · 4 hours ago

Prime Video will release a four-part documentary series about Spain’s World Cup victory, offering behind-the-scenes access to the team’s campaign and its wins over Argentina and France. The series matters because it will chronicle a major sporting achievement for Spain and capitalise on unusually high international interest in the tournament.

Due by the end of 2026, the programme will include previously unseen footage and interviews with players and coaching staff, following a 26-player squad over 52 days. Produced by Spain’s football federation with Telefónica Broadcast Services, it follows a final watched by 62.8 million people in the US across Fox, Telemundo and Peacock, a record for a football broadcast there.
