Frankenstein’s Criterion Collection Release Is Up for Preorder – Here’s Where You Can Buy It
Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein is receiving a Criterion Collection physical release, with pre-orders now open ahead of its 27 October launch. The edition matters to collectors and fans because it combines premium artwork, multiple disc formats and a substantial set of new extras, including an extended director’s cut.
The 4K edition costs $59.95, with Blu-ray priced at $49.95 and DVD at $29.95. Its 158-minute Frankenstein: The Reborn Cut includes new commentary from del Toro; other features include a making-of documentary, craft discussions, Q&As and an essay, while 4K and Blu-ray versions add Dolby Atmos audio and the 4K set includes Dolby Vision HDR discs.
