Santa Monica Studio has officially confirmed that *God of War Laufey* will be released on 16 February 2027, providing a firm date for the newly announced spin-off. The update, made during San Diego Comic-Con, places the game among PlayStation’s notable releases planned for early 2027.

The studio also unveiled a new teaser during its Comic-Con panel. *God of War Laufey*, starring Deborah Ann Woll as Laufey, was first shown at June’s State of Play with 20 minutes of gameplay; Woll previously portrayed the character in 2022’s *God of War: Ragnarök*.
