MrBeast’s Newest Battle: Granting Wishes for Kids Battling Cancer (With Assist From LeBron James)
MrBeast has released a new philanthropic YouTube video, “I Helped 100 Kids Fight Cancer”, shifting from his usual competition-based content to support children and young adults affected by cancer. The campaign aims to grant wishes, raise awareness and encourage donations for paediatric cancer research, using MrBeast’s large online audience and a guest appearance by LeBron James.
The initiative brings together Beast Philanthropy, Stand Up To Cancer, Amgen, the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and the LeBron James Family Foundation. In Akron, Ohio, James and MrBeast surprised six local St. Baldrick’s children and cancer survivors at the I PROMISE School, playing basketball and visiting House Three Thirty; the campaign also promotes a planned Stand Up To Cancer Paediatric Cancer Dream Team. MrBeast said more than 105,000 children worldwide die from cancer each year.
