Nintendo Life · 5 hours ago

Bandai Namco has unveiled paid DLC for its fighting game that introduces a new single-player progression system where players select a character, incrementally unlock abilities, and refine them across customised matches. The package includes four additional story battles, four new fight locations, and over thirty character additions from across the Dragon Ball franchise, rolling out July 30th on most platforms with Switch release details pending.

The accompanying free update expands combat options through two mechanics designed to increase offensive depth. One allows players to consume accumulated Skill Stock to amplify damage during Sparking Mode at the cost of temporary stat reduction. The other enables reserve-character tags following knockback attacks, permitting players to chain additional high-damage energy blasts. The update also adds environmental variations to existing stages.
