The film sits in early development stages with production expected only after the Multiverse Saga concludes via Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027, rendering publicity efforts premature when Marvel's leadership already juggles several active franchises.

The strategic silence also reflects Marvel's current utilisation of the X-Men property. Rather than introducing an entirely new team to audiences, the studio is integrating the beloved cast from Fox's original X-Men films—now part of Disney's holdings—into the MCU's multiverse narrative arc. Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars prominently feature original actors including Kelsey Grammer, Rebecca Romijn, and James Marsden. Announcing a complete franchise reboot simultaneously with their active presence would create narrative and promotional tension the studio clearly wishes to avoid.
