Darts world number one Luke Littler is to front a new live Netflix event called "Beat Luke Littler", in which members of the public will get the chance to play against him. Twenty entrants will be selected to take part in the televised event on 30 October, with anyone challenging the 19-year-old given the opportunity to win £501,000, a nod to the 501-point format used in darts.

Open regional heats will be held in London and Manchester in September to choose participants, with applicants aged 12 and over eligible, though under-18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at auditions. Littler, who became the sport's youngest world number one in January 2025 aged 17, has enjoyed a dominant run of form, most recently retaining his Betfred World Matchplay title on Sunday with a record-breaking 111.53 average in the final against Gerwyn Price, part of a clean sweep of major titles this year including the World Championship, UK Open, Premier League and the Masters.
