FromSoftware's upcoming Switch 2 exclusive, The Duskbloods, is holding a closed network test in late August, and Nintendo has opened a sign-up window for players hoping to take part. Because places are not guaranteed, prospective testers must register in advance and wait to be told whether their application has been accepted, giving fans of the Dark Souls and Bloodborne developer an early look at the game's online systems ahead of a busy Switch 2 summer that also includes Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition.

Sign-ups run from Wednesday 22nd July to Tuesday 28th July at 2.59pm BST, via Nintendo's official website, and require a Switch 2 console, an active Nintendo Switch Online membership and a linked Nintendo account. Successful applicants will be notified on Friday 7th August at 2pm UK time, with the test itself running across five four-hour sessions between Friday 21st and Monday 24th August. The test supports up to eight players per multiplayer match, aims to assess network performance and game balance, and prohibits screenshots or video capture during play.
