Director Michael Pomeroy has completed filming on his psychological drama Paul & Greg & Amelia, ahead of a planned sales push at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The New York-based filmmaker's second feature stars Quinn Jackson, Christopher Ryan, Matt Hardy and Terra Layne, and follows his 2022 debut The Rest of Your Life, in which he also appeared on screen alongside Hardy.

The story centres on a novelist suffering from writer's block who reconnects with an estranged college friend, now a wealthy tech entrepreneur, seeking inspiration for his next book; the reunion escalates into a psychological thriller when a long-buried secret involving the entrepreneur's wife threatens all three characters. The film is produced by Jack Mulcahy, Lucien Formichella, Cal Green, Todd Slater and Pomeroy himself, with James R. Whaley and Brandon Svac serving as executive producers, and a score from Emmy-recognised composers Michael Abiuso and Christopher Bordeaux. Slater's company, Convoke Media, is preparing to launch international sales on the project at TIFF.
