Bazooka Fest 2026 adds Destroyer and Stephin Merritt to bill

Brooklyn's Bazooka Fest has revealed the full lineup for its 2026 edition, adding co-headliners Stephin Merritt of the Magnetic Fields and Destroyer's Dan Bejar to a bill already topped by Cloud Nothings and the reunited Times New Viking. The expanded announcement fleshes out a festival billed by organiser Jake Whitener, a former Matador Records A&R director, as an intimate, cross-generational celebration of underground rock and pop in the mould of All Tomorrow's Parties or Athens Pop Fest.
The festival runs across 22 and 23 August at the Meadows and the Wood Shop in Brooklyn. Saturday's bill is headlined by Cloud Nothings and Times New Viking, with support from Sad13, Colleen Green and others, while Sunday sees Merritt and Bejar (both performing solo sets) topping a night featuring Joanna Sternberg, Kiwi Jr. and 2nd Grade, among further acts. Whitener's own band, Sunshine Convention, is also on the bill.
