Lauren Bell kept her nerve to help Southern Brave beat MI London by a single run in a last-ball thriller in The Hundred, extending Brave's unbeaten start to the tournament. The victory keeps Brave top of the women's standings with three wins from three, while MI London remain winless after falling agonisingly short in their run chase.

Chasing 127, MI London were guided by an unbeaten half-century from Danni Wyatt-Hodge but needed four runs off Bell's final delivery and could not find the boundary. Earlier, Southern Brave posted 126-7, built around contributions from Maia Bouchier, Laura Wolvaardt and Jemimah Rodrigues, before Hayley Matthews' 4-22 helped restrict the total; Matthews then top-scored for MI London with 32 before MI's chase faded under tight bowling from Issy Wong and Sophie Molineux.
