The Virginia National Ballet will premiere a new production set to the music of Aerosmith, bringing the rock band's back catalogue to the stage in an unusual fusion of genres. The show is being billed by organisers as a "bold, electrifying world premiere" that combines rock energy with classical dance artistry, marking a departure from the company's traditional repertoire.

The production, titled Aerosmith, will open on 2 May 2027 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center's Merchant Hall in Manassas, Virginia. It will draw on the band's 1970s hits as well as their later, MTV-era songs, and will be staged alongside another new work, Nocturne, choreographed to piano music by the Polish composer Frédéric Chopin.
