An update to Spider-Man 2 from Insomniac Games has arrived alongside a new Spider-Man theatrical film release. The patch introduces two additional costumes that players can equip for the protagonist.
One outfit, titled 'Fresh Start,' borrows its visual direction from the Spider-Man: Brand New Day film and provides a fresh interpretation of the iconic superhero look. The other costume originates from Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls and employs a contemporary science fiction aesthetic featuring white detailing, an enlarged chest emblem, and the cel-shaded art style of that fighting game. Beyond cosmetic additions, the update enhances PlayStation 5 Pro performance through improved visual upscaling and introduces a power-saving mode.
