Tony winner Lena Hall has joined Chad Michael Murray in the upcoming family drama "Disconnecting Peter", written and directed by Christopher Beatty. Hall will play Elizabeth Ruck, wife to Murray's Peter Ruck, a woman trying to hold her family together as her husband's destructive behaviour threatens to tear them apart, with the story centring on the family's reckoning with a past tragedy.

Hall, known for her Tony-winning turn in "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" and current role in Apple TV+'s "Your Friends & Neighbors", has also appeared in "Snowpiercer" and films including "Becks" and "Honey Don't!". Murray, best known for "One Tree Hill" and last summer's "Freakier Friday", was previously confirmed for the project. Eddie Micallef and Benjamin J. Murray are producing, with Thomas J. Molica executive producing and Stephanie Holbrook overseeing casting; filming is set to begin in January 2027 in New Jersey.
