Miley Cyrus Reveals She’s Working on a New LP: ‘This Album Is a Love Story’
Miley Cyrus has revealed she is working on her tenth studio album, describing it as a "love story" centred on her relationship with fiancé Maxx Morando as well as her own self-acceptance. She shared the news in an interview published on 27 July with Wonderland magazine, which she guest-edited, marking her first comments on new music since signing with Atlantic Records earlier this year after 13 years with Sony.
The 10-track record could arrive within months, potentially before the February 2027 Grammy Awards. Cyrus said the album builds on a theme of "peaceful" love running through her last three records, encompassing both romantic love and self-love, and noted she worked from a fixed tracklist throughout to keep the process focused. It follows her previous release, Endless Summer Vacation, which peaked at number four on the Billboard 200 and produced the Grammy-winning, chart-topping single "Flowers".
