Doncaster Rovers have signed winger Jordan Thomas on a three-year deal following his departure from Cheltenham Town, whose contract expired at the end of June. The move bolsters Doncaster's attacking options as they prepare for the new League One season, with the 25-year-old expressing enthusiasm about joining a club he believes is heading in the right direction.

Thomas scored eight goals in 43 appearances for Cheltenham in all competitions during the 2025-26 season, having netted 14 times in 93 league outings for the club overall. He could feature for Doncaster as early as their EFL Cup first-round tie against Stockport County on Saturday, 8 August.
