Peacock is set to become free for subscribers of YouTube Premium from early 2027, as part of a new agreement between NBCUniversal and YouTube. The deal marks another step in Peacock's push to widen its reach without raising costs directly, following an earlier bundling arrangement with Apple TV, and comes as streaming services generally continue to grow more expensive for consumers juggling multiple platforms.

Under the arrangement, anyone already paying the standard $15.99 monthly fee for YouTube Premium will be able to cancel a separate Peacock subscription once the bundle launches, since Peacock's content will be included at no extra charge. The wider agreement also covers certain sports broadcasts being made available on YouTube and YouTube TV. NBCUniversal has not yet confirmed an exact launch date beyond "early 2027". Peacock's value has been bolstered by shows including Yellowstone, with all of Taylor Sheridan's future projects due to move to the platform once he leaves Paramount at the end of 2028, alongside recent releases such as Five-Star Weekend.
