Portland indie rock band How Strange It Is have announced their new album, There Is No Evil, alongside the release of the lead single "Slime". The five-piece, known for a fuzzed-out sound compared to acts such as Wishy and TAGABOW, describe the record as exploring various instances of self-interest at others' expense, spanning topics from government to break-ups.

The band comprises Jordan Krinsky (vocals, songwriting), Caleb Ballard (guitar, clarinet, synth, vocals), Annie Miranda (bass), Annie Fifer (guitar, vocals) and Kyle Gordon (drums), with the album produced by Krinsky alongside Ballard and Vin Christopher. There Is No Evil features nine tracks, including "EVL", "Slime" and "Venus In The 12th House", and is due for release on 20th October via Pleasure Tapes.
