Hilarious Adventure Collection The Immortal John Triptych Arrives on PS5 in August

Push Square ·

Push Square reports that The Immortal John Triptych, a remastered collection of solo developer Joe Richardson's absurdist point-and-click adventure games, is coming to PS5. The set brings together The Procession to Calvary, Four Last Things and Death of the Reprobate, marking the first PlayStation release for the latter two titles, which had previously only appeared on other platforms.

The collection launches on 27th August, with all three games "fully remastered" and featuring a unified user interface across the trilogy, deleted and bonus scenes, and general quality-of-life improvements. The games are known for their surreal collage-style visuals and deliberately silly, distinctly English humour, having drawn praise from Push Square in earlier reviews.

Explained simply

The Immortal John Triptych is a collection of three adventure games created by solo developer Joe Richardson. The three titles are The Procession to Calvary, Four Last Things and Death of the Reprobate, each known for their distinctive surreal, collage-style artwork and deliberately absurdist humour rooted in English comedy.

These games were released separately on various platforms over recent years, with some titles having never previously appeared on PlayStation consoles. They are being brought together in a single remastered collection with visual improvements and enhancements to the user interface, allowing players to experience all three games as a unified body of work.
