Epic Games has announced a Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossover for Fortnite, timed to coincide with the film's cinema release. The update brings back the popular web shooters item, letting players swing across the map, alongside new character skins tied to the movie, reinforcing Fortnite's continued strategy of pairing major in-game content drops with blockbuster film releases.

The Item Shop will add a Brand New Day Spider-Man suit with a removable mask revealing Tom Holland's face, plus skins for Hulk and Jon Bernthal's Punisher, though Epic has not confirmed an exact release time (the shop typically refreshes at 8pm ET). It remains unclear whether a skin will follow for Sadie Sink's character or whether older Spider-Man tie-in outfits will return. The announcement came with new footage from the film, which opens in cinemas this Friday and has already received a 7/10 review from IGN, alongside separate new skins for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 that are available now.
