Sheffield Wednesday have unveiled their new away kit, with its design drawing on one of the club’s well-known shirts from the 1990s. The release continues the club’s renewed association with Umbro and uses a retro reference intended to appeal to supporters while updating the look for the forthcoming season.

The kit forms part of Wednesday’s 2026–27 range, following the launch of the home shirt. Umbro has returned as the club’s technical partner, reviving a relationship closely associated with Wednesday’s sides of the 1980s and 1990s; the away design also echoes the Sanderson-sponsored era.
