Atlanta duo Coco & Clair Clair have released a new single called "Coldplay," marking their first new music since their acclaimed 2024 album Girl. The track continues the pair's signature blend of breezy production with sharp, tongue-in-cheek lyricism about the contradictions of modern womanhood.

The duo have said the song was inspired by a scene from the film Zola, and explores themes of duality, such as longing for and resenting a partner simultaneously, and mixing luxury with everyday indulgence. A companion track is expected to follow soon. The band have also confirmed upcoming tour dates, including stops in Los Angeles on 22 August, London on 29 August, and Austin, Texas, in December.
